Road Raise is an event partnered alongside CanTeen to raise money for young people effected by cancer. Road Raise will see 35 like-minded individuals cycling over 1,000km at a total elevation of 11,800m to raise money for young people in need.
We have partnered up with Morgan Carter, a young adult, passionate about helping young people when cancer enters their world.
Morgan is unfortunately no stranger to cancer. At only 5, Morgan's father tragically passed away from male breast cancer. Just 3 years later, Morgan's mother was diagnosed with breast cancer too. Morgan spent most of her young adult life caring for her mum, however her battle was lost when Morgan was just 21 years old.
Morgan found CanTeen when she was 12 to get support and connect to people who were experiencing similar feelings of confusion, grief, and loss due to cancer. CanTeen provides young adults like Morgan the support to build resilience and strength to overcome grief.
Sportcorp Australia has proudly sponsored Morgan, by giving her the opportunity to ride one of our best preloved bikes; a 2020 Specialized S-Works CREO (valued at $19,000).
